Overeaters Anonymous is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength and hope are recovering from compulsive overeating.
We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively. There are no dues or
fees for members; we are self-
Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive overeating and to carry this message of recovery to those who still suffer.
SGVIE -
We are a friendly and supportive group and strive to place the principles of the program before individual personalities. We wish to extend an invitation for you to attend several meetings of our fellowship before you decide for sure whether this program will be of benefit for you. This is because meetings vary to a degree in scope and purpose and you can meet the widest variety of members by attending more than one particular meeting.
We are a varied group. Many are overeaters in some stage of recovery. Then too, we have members both men and women who have suffered from anorexia and bulimia as well. All are welcome, and we are sure that you will hear ‘your’ story and identify with members who have experienced physical, mental and spiritual recovery in the program if you stick around long enough.
Please review the page listed upper left on our menu options for Meetings. This page will tell you when and where you can find meetings in our area and a contact number if you’d like to speak to the secretary of that meeting prior to your attendance.
